About Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour (Yoshida Trail)

This is a 2 days and 1 night bus tour where you can stay at the mountain hut Goraiko-kan located 3,450m above sea level and is the nearest to the top of Mt. Fuji. There are four ways to climb the mountain, and the most common way is to take a car or bus to the 5th Station and then climb to the summit. This tour will take you on the most popular route, the Yoshida Trail, which takes you to the summit from the north side of Mt. Fuji. There are many mountain huts and first aid stations along the way, making it a safe route for beginners. It is also possible to see the sunrise from anywhere along the route.

Yoshida Trail (Yamanashi): Approximately 2,300m from the 5th Station, 7.5km ascent, 7.6km descent

Goraiko-kan is located in 3,450m above sea level of Mt. Fuji and is the closest mountain hut to the summit of Mt. Fuji. If you climb up here on the first day when you have enough energy, your chances of reaching the summit will be greatly improved. Climb up slowly from the 5th Station around noon and rest well at mountain hut. Goraiko-kan is the best place to watch the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji at dusk, and a starry sky that seems to be within reach late at night. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and experience the excitement of being on top Japan's highest peak.

  • There are no bathrooms, showers, or bathroom sinks because there is no running water. Branding at each hut is available (please pay on site).
